What We Are Searching For

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Water Damage Restoration Technician to join out team. As a hands-on professional, you will be responsible for executing water damage restoration tasks, ensuring the efficient and effective recovery of affected properties. 

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of water damage situations, identifying the extent of damage and potential risks.
• Effectively communicate and sell restoration projects to clients. 
• Document and communicate findings to project managers and team members.
• Set up and monitor drying equipment to remove moisture from affected structures.
• Implement efficient water removal techniques to minimize damage.
• Identify and address mold growth in water-damaged areas.
• Implement mold remediation procedures in compliance with industry standards.
• Clean and sanitize affected surfaces and structures to eliminate potential health hazards.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of restoration activities including photographs and written/drawn documentation.
• Communicate progress reports to project managers and team members.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in water damage restoration technician.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including heavy lifting equipment and working in various conditions.
• Willingness to work in emergency situations and adapt to changing project requirements.
• Effective documentation and communication skills for water restoration projects.
• Commitment to timely arrival to office and projects.
• Ability to handing power and hand tools.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• IICRC certification in Water Damage Restoration (preferred)
• Background check, pass drug test
• Must have a valid driver’s license

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency in Xactimate (Level 1 Certification)
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
