Resource Guide
From the first call to the final walkthrough.
Knowing what comes next makes a stressful week easier. Here is how a typical water damage project moves.
Day 1
Inspection and emergency work
Our technician walks the property with you and checks every affected room. We use moisture meters and thermal imaging to find how far the water travelled, including inside walls and under floors. We identify the source, the category, and the class of water. Then we start working: extraction, removing saturated materials, and setting up drying equipment. If contents need to be moved to complete the work, we can handle the pack-out or arrange it through trusted partners. Before we leave, you will know what was done, what equipment is running, and what happens next. You will sign a work authorisation before work begins.
Days 2–5
Drying and monitoring
We come back on a regular schedule to take moisture readings and adjust equipment. Equipment gets moved, added, or removed as areas dry. Most homes with clean water are dry in 3 to 5 days. Hardwood, concrete, and heavier losses can take longer. The equipment is loud and runs 24 hours a day. Please leave it on. Rooms will feel warm and dry. Your electric bill will go up slightly — we can document usage for your claim.

Final documentation
When every material reaches its dry target, we pull equipment and send final documentation to your insurance.
Repairs
Rebuild
Our team writes a repair estimate, works with your adjuster on approval, helps you choose finishes, and schedules the rebuild. Timelines depend on scope and material availability.
Final walkthrough
